Year of Sabbath – Thanksgivings from Ps Yo and her 12

Well well well, in the Year of Sabbath 2008, many of us have indeed received many blessings and surprises from God.. here are some thanksgivings from Pastor's 12 and herself..
Pastor Yo: God works wonderfully in 2008. He renewed & restored many precious relationships for me. He provided for my needs. God is awesome. I will always praise Him and love Him.

Sally Wong: I thank God that He re-affirmed me that I’m a treasured child and he’s my provider & abba father.

Lay Leng: I thank God that He has taught me to give thanks always. Thanksgiving helps to put matters back to God’s perspective.

JiaRong: In this year of Sabbath, I’ve renewed my hope in the Lord and a new commitment and passion to serve.

Karen: It is a year in which God showed me my limits and showed me the extent of His.

Sharon: Hallelujah! I am thankful for the restoration of relationships and fulfilllment of God’s purposes in the year of Sabbath.

Xiushi: Thank God for my mother-in-law’s salvation & baptism. I experience greater faith in God this year.

Stephanie Go: I thank for the growth in my cell and their willingness to want to serve.

Mabel: I Thank God for His faithfulness & goodness in the smooth conception, pregnancy & delivery of our daughter, Hannah.

Muar ReTrEaT 2008

The night before the retreat....
Pastor received a call and we all have to make changes to the new bus timing.. All the leaders started to panic.. We called up our members who will be going Muar and informed them of the changes..Thank God we managed to call up all of them..

The following day.. What a day..The weather was cooling and the breeze was really nice..
We then waited for the "bus" and three vans came instead..haha..

Next will be worship time, word sessions, games and rest.. here are some photos:In our own free time, we played boardgames.. ok twister is another type of game..haha.. erm, i guess the boardgame of the retreat was "Saboteur" card game.. It teaches us "discernment"..haha.. Our dear Layleng had great fun too!!! ok her pictures will be shown on the next post..We also had fun looking and guessing our very own tribe people's baby photos. Yuppie, our rooms... There are 3 different houses, House of Grace, House of Joy and House of Peace..
This photo was supposed to show the forfeit of 4 people who lost in a game but instead Sally had to show how the forfeit is being done.... Forfeit: Each of them was supposed to act out an expression, the idiotic, bimbotic, a monkey and silly expression..
Guess what?? Sally herself had to show them how to do it!!haha.. It seemed like Sally was the one having the forfeit yo...haha.. Other than word sessions, worship and games, we were given much free time to chat and have our own personal time..coooool...
On the second day.... (Pls wait for the next post.. because many funky photos will only be collected after wed)...
